Description
A prestigious bank is seeking an SVP – Assistant Treasurer to join their midtown offices in New York. This role will manage a team and be responsible for all phases of Treasury management, including Securities Portfolio Management, Liquidity and Asset/Liability Management. The position will report to the Managing Director - Treasurer.

Major Responsibilities:
· Lead Treasury processes and initiatives including Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), reporting to Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC), M&A, NPI, Regulatory readiness and compliance
· Lead the business level identification and management of treasury exposure issues (foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity, etc.).
- Oversight of internal (corporate customers) derivative sales.
- Ensure match funding and manage exception process
- Own Net Income hedging program
- Ensure steady communication flow of research and periodic analysis to support Senior Leadership’s needs
· Provide treasury leadership on organic growth transactions and advise on funding and hedging.
· Drive Treasury policy understanding and compliance
Job Requirements:
· 10+ years of finance or treasury experience,
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in relevant GAAP and IFRS guidance for analysis, accounting and reporting of global investments, off-balance sheet structures, derivatives and other capital markets instruments.
· Excellent knowledge of Asset Liability Management
· Experience working in global business environment
· Experience leading cross-functional projects within treasury
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
· Experience working across multiple levels (including executive)
· Demonstrated team leadership
Bachelor’s degree required and MBA degree preferred
