Description
Our client, a major international bank with offices in NYC is seeking a VP- Relationship Manager– Latin American Corporates & Financial Institutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 + years of experience as a Relationship Manager with Latin American based Financial Institutions and Corporates. Extensive experience expanding business with existing clients and new targets.
Major Responsibilities:
- Expand lending business in the Latin American market
- Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with banks and corporates in Latin America.
- The incumbent will be responsible for underwriting deals, providing risk assessment, transaction structuring and deal execution for counterparties
- Responsible for cross-selling financial products, including F/X, interest rate and credit derivatives.
- Experience working with counterparties, including top and 2nd tier banks.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of extensive experience
- Strong knowledge of the lending, investments/portfolio analysis and financial markets
- Strong knowledge of industry data and market sources
- Excellent, financial modeling, credit risk assessment, etc.
- Fluency in Spanish OR Portuguese required
Bachelor’s degree required
