Student Paper Award
Each year DARSG solicits student papers for submission to the Annual meeting. To increase the recognition of outstanding research being conducted as part of the educational process, DARSG reviews all student papers and selects one as the best paper. The winner receives a cash award and travel support to attend the SRA meeting to present his or her work.
Past winners of the DARSG award were:
- 2008: Neger Elmah, University of British Columbia, “Multi-criteria decision analyses and re-emerging infectious diseases; a case study of West Nile Virus."
- 2007: Geoffrey Milz, University of Cincinnati’s School of Planning, “Beyond ad-hoc: An application of multi-criteria decision analysis in an agroterror scenario.”
