WRARM 2013 held in Guiyang

The Third Symposium of Risk Analysis and Risk Management in Western China (WRARM 2013), was held in Guiyang, China, on Jun 22-23, 2013, organized by SRA-China and hosted by Guizhou University of Finance and economy. The theme is “'Improve the risk management of mountain land, boost the economic development of western China”. More than 70 participants attended in the symposium, including the experts, scholars, government officials, researchers and entrepreneurs in the field of management, technology development and applications of credit risk. The participants launched extensive discussion in topics on the financial risk, insurance and regional economy development.
Professor Neng Jiang, the president of collage of Finance of GUFE took charge of the opening ceremony of the symposium. Professor Zongfang Zhou, vice-president of SRA-China, working in collage of economy and management, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, gave a welcome speech. Zhaole Shi, professor of Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences, Kavin Zhang and Tianyong Luo, both Professor of collage of Finance of GUFE made speeches in turn.
The symposium was supported by Chinese Academy of Virtual Economy and Data Science Research Center, Chengdu Institute of Project Management, Guizhou Institute of Quantitative Economics, Disaster Prevention Office of Guizhou government, Bank of Guizhou, the Center of Financing Credit Guarantee of Guizhou and other agencies.
The symposium is a highlight for improving our academic research and application level in the field of credit risk management, promoting the development of credit risk analysis and management of the western region, and building a good platform for achievements transforming in the field of credit risk research.
26 papers were awarded to be outstanding papers. The First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize are awarded of 1000 RMB, 800 RMB and 500 RMB, respectively.
