Background: The local chapter, sponsors and hosts events for its membership in the metropolitan Washington area, including Virginia and Maryland. We are currently underway in organizing programs for the next 18 months. Programs are designed to inform members on timely policy issues, further methods and techniques, and provide education and outreach to the surrounding community.

To become a member of the NCAC SRA regional organization: There are two options for becoming a member of the NCAC SRA regional organization:
- You can register to be a member of SRA. Registration information and online registration is available at www.sra.org. Please add NCAC as an option under membership to join the local regional organization.
- You can elect to join NCAC without joining the SRA. The cost to join NCAC is $10. Please print and fill out the linked form and return it to SRA. Please note that NCAC membership does not provide the benefits of full SRA membership such as free access to the journal Risk Analysis.
