We had a great annual meeting at the Energy Resource Center at the end of May, with a turnout of about 50 members. Thanks to all the wonderful speakers who covered a variety of topics. In case you are interested in downloading a copy of the presentations, you can find them here!
The 26th Annual Meeting was a success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Board Members to organize the event. Paul Beswick was recognized for all his hardwork coordinating the meeting, and always stepping in to make sure last minute details are taken care of. Every year, the annual meeting welcomes the new leadership of SCSRA for the 2013 to 2014 year. Tariq Hussain, who is a Vice President at URS Corporation in Orange County, was announced as the new President. We are also very happy to have Hanh Nguyen, with SCS Tracer Engineers in San Diego, join us as a new Counselor on our leadership team. We are hoping she expands the reach of our Southern Califrornia organization beyond the Los Angeles area to San Diego.
