Symposium Description
"The Risk Communication Challenges of Avian Influenza and Pandemic Flu" was a special symposium held on Monday, December 4th 2006, as part of the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) Annual Meeting. Approximately 60 conference attendees joined presenters from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Bank, Rutgers University and Cornell University in discussing the risk communication challenges of both avian influenza and a potential flu pandemic.
