Annual Meeting

Mentorship Program

The Society for Risk Analysis is committed to supporting and nurturing the career development of emerging researchers and practitioners in risk analysis. The SRA Annual Meeting is a great place for students and new professionals to learn about research in many different areas of risk analysis and participate in mentorship and networking.

The SRA Mentorship Program facilitates communication throughout the conference by linking those new to the field/profession with mid- and senior-level colleagues. Mentors advise emerging professionals (mentees) on getting the most value from the SRA Annual Meeting, introduce mentees to colleagues, and discuss career goals. Mentees are encouraged to talk with mentors about challenges and opportunities in today’s risk analysis landscape. Mentors and early-career professionals can enroll in the program through our registration form.

The program requires very little time commitment. Mentors and mentees will be introduced via email prior to the meeting and are encouraged to meet in person at the opening reception and other free times during the conference. Mentors and mentees can determine the amount of interaction prior to, during, and after the meeting. After the meeting, mentors and mentees can determine how much they will correspond.

If you would like to participate in the SRA Mentorship Program, please fill out the appropriate survey below to indicate your areas of professional interest or expertise, which SRA will use to match you as best as we can. The last day to complete the enrollment form prior to the meeting is November 1, 2022. If you’ve already registered for the conference, you can still enroll in the mentorship program.
