Our next SRA-ANZ Annual Meeting will be in Melbourne, 6-7 February.

The SRA Annual Meeting brings together a cross-disciplinary community of scientists from academia, industry, and government dedicated to risk science in all aspects of our connected world.

The Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) is the world’s largest research organization focused on risk. It provides an open forum for interdisciplinary discussions on risk analysis, encompassing risk assessment, characterization, communication, management, and policy. SRA addresses risks at various levels, including individuals, public and private organizations, and society as a whole. It embraces both the negative and positive consequences of risk. With its diverse membership, SRA offers a relevant scientific platform to discuss leading issues in risk analysis, research, and the application of risk theory to support communication, perception, assessment, decision-making, and governance in our societies.

The Society of Risk Analysis Australia New Zealand (SRA ANZ) conference aims to bring together individuals and organizations interested in various aspects of risk analysis, including risk assessment, management, governance, and communication.

We invite contributions on new developments and perspectives in any aspect of risk including (but not limited to):

With many presentations and some great keynotes scheduled, you’ll have the chance to discover the latest advancements in risk science. The conference will feature leading researchers from a variety of disciplines, offering a comprehensive perspective on emerging trends and innovative approaches in the field.

A three-course dinner (incl. drinks) will be served at University House, The University of Melbourne for conference delegates. 6pm – 9pm. Add this optional item to your cart as an additional activity for the conference. Add any dietaries into the required field. Please note that this ticket does not get you into the 2 day conference, only the dinner.

Pre Conference Climate Risk Tour and Talk

A limited number of tickets are available for the pre-conference climate risk tour in the picturesque winemaking region of Yarra Valley, Victoria. Price includes transport to/from the Yarra Valley (pick up and drop off: the University of Melbourne), 3 course lunch and drinks at a winery, and two stops in the Yarra Valley. Professor Jacqueline Dutton will speak to delegates about the history of wine, risk and winemaking. Winemakers from each of the locations will also discuss how they are dealing with climate risk in their agricultural practice. Departure from Melbourne University is at 9:00am, with a scheduled return at 3:30pm.

Please note that purchase of this ticket alone does not get you into the 2-day conference.
